Vital Watchdog is an online platform provided by Sitna slova d.o.o. designed to serve as a digital "Dead Man's Switch," providing features such as periodic check-in notifications, message encryption, secure communications, and integration with third-party tools like email and Telegram. The Service aims to help users manage their digital assets and ensure that predefined actions are taken in the event of prolonged inactivity.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
  • Agree to and comply with these Terms.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
  • Vital Watchdog is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

4. Subscription Plans

Vital Watchdog offers a Free plan and a Premium plan:

  • Free Plan: Limited features, such as a restricted number of check-in intervals and messages.
  • Premium Plan: Includes advanced features like unlimited contacts, API calls, message encryption, and Telegram integration. Premium subscriptions are billed annually and are non-refundable after purchase.

5. User Responsibilities

Vital Watchdog offers a Free plan and a Premium plan:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • Not misuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its proper functioning.
  • Not submit false or misleading information, including invalid contact details or fraudulent payment information.
  • Maintain backups of your encryption keys and other critical data. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from your failure to secure such data.

6. Message Encryption and Data Security

  • Messages encrypted using our Service are protected with a secret key that is not stored on our servers. Users are solely responsible for managing and sharing their secret keys with trusted recipients.
  • All files and sensitive data stored with the Service are encrypted and accessible only for a limited time after the Dead Man's Switch is triggered.
  • While we employ industry-standard encryption and security measures, no system can guarantee absolute security. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Dead Man’s Switch Triggers

By using the Dead Man’s Switch feature, you:

  • Agree to define the actions that will be executed in the event of your prolonged inactivity.
  • Understand that once the Dead Man's Switch is triggered, actions like sending messages to trusted contacts, executing API calls, or sharing encrypted data cannot be undone.
  • Acknowledge your responsibility to ensure that contact details and other settings are up-to-date.

8. Telegram Integration

By enabling Telegram integration, you agree to:

  • Link your Telegram account to our system using the generated "magic word."
  • Receive check-in notifications and well-being confirmation requests via Telegram.

Note: We do not share your Telegram data with third parties or store unnecessary information about your interactions.

9. Privacy Policy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

  • Engage in illegal or harmful activities.
  • Harass, exploit, or harm others.
  • Attempt to bypass or hack the Service’s security measures.
  • Violate the rights of others or any applicable laws.

11. Termination of Account
