Regular Check-Ins

Vital Watchdog sends periodic check-in requests via email and Telegram (if linked). Simply confirm your well-being by clicking a link.

If you confirm: Everything stays on standby.
If you miss the deadline: Predefined actions are triggered.

Triggering the Dead Man’s Switch

If you fail to respond to multiple check-in attempts:

Emails or encrypted messages are sent to your specified recipients.
Custom API actions (if configured) are executed.
Optional file storage contents are handled according to your preferences.

Security and Encryption

Messages can be encrypted with a secret key, ensuring only recipients with the key can access them.
Stored files are encrypted and available only temporarily after triggering.
